Bailey was a two-time Academic All-Region/All-Conference for the Huskies, won the Scholar-Athlete Award in 1996-97, won the Dale Glover Defensive Award in 1996-97, and had the Hustle award named after him because he is the only three-time winner. He was the assist leader in 1996-97 with 121 assists. Bailey is twelfth in career assists with 283, and tenth in career steals with 134. He is the son of Hall of Honor recipeint, Rick Bailey (1964-67).
