Preston was a two-time All-American for the Huskies, a two-time All-Region player, and an Academic All-Region/All-Conference in 1994-95. He was the two-time scoring champion, is part of the 1,000 point club, is part of the 40 point club, and is tied for the most three pointers made in a game with 8 against Huston-Tillotson on Feb. 10, 1995. In the 1994-95 season, he had 670 points, and made 72 three pointers. He also shot 81.6% from the free throw line that year. Preston has the fifteenth most career points in a season with 1,290, the tenth most career three pointers made with 137, the seventh highest career free throw percentage at 81.4%, and the fifth highest scoring average with 19.5 points per game.
