Griffin was a three-time All-American, the Region Player of the Year in 2003, and a three-time All-Region player. In 2004, she batted .371 and had 25 base on balls. In 2005, Griffin had 63 hits, 47 runs scored, 14 home runs, which is the most ever in a season, and 47 runs batted in. She is fourth in career hits with 210, third in career runs scored with 160, sixth in career doubles with 39, first in career home runs with 46, third in career base on balls with 78, second in career runs batted in with 150, third in career at bats with 598, and seventh in career games played with 206.
