Panfilli was a two-time All-American at first base for the Huskies in 2004 and 2005. He was the offensive player of the year both seasons, as well as all-conference and academic all-region. Panfilli's .461 batting average in 2005 is the HBU single-season record and his .441 career average ranks first all-time. He also ranks 11th all-time with 120 RBIs. His 12 home runs in 2005 is tied for seventh and his 64 RBIs that year rank fifth in a single season at HBU.
