Gonzalez was an outfielder and relief pitcher and is HBU’s all-time leader in doubles with 62, ranks second in at-bats with 796 and ranks fourth in hits (237), RBIs (161), runs (138) and triples (12) and 11th with 18 home runs, while also ranking seventh all-time with 10 saves on the mound. He was an All-Great West Conference First Team selection in 2013, after earning second-team honors in 2012. He helped lead the Huskies to the league title in 2013, a runner-up finish from 2010-12 and made the all-tournament team as a junior and senior. He posted his best season by the numbers in 2012, hitting .328 with 19 doubles, nine triples, five home runs, 63 RBIs and a team-leading five saves.
