Sharp Gym - M/W Basketball, Volleyball
Seating Capacity: 1,000
The Frank and Lucille Sharp Physical Education Building was built in 1963. Later named Sharp Gymnasium, the facility serves as home to the Husky basketball and Husky volleyball teams. Sharp Gym has also served as the home away from home practice facility for the two-time NBA champion Houston Rockets and the four-time WNBA champion Houston Comets.

Water damage during the summer of 1994 forced HBU to replace the playing floor. Sharp Gymnasium now boasts one of the finest playing floors in the state of Texas.Further renovations included the replacement of the bleachers, donated by the President's Development Council, and the most recent change was replacing the stage on the end of the court to cushioned-backed seats prior to the 2011-12 season.

HBU baseball had 17-straight winning seasons at Husky Field, from 1993-2010. Located off Beechnut Street on the southeast corner of campus, the spacious home of the Huskies gives HBU a solid home-field advantage.

Opening during the 1993 season, the 1,000-seat ballpark boasts one of the better playing surfaces in the state. The dimensions are 330 feet down the foul lines, 380 and 400 feet to the power alleys and 406 to center field. A roomy press box services the needs of the media.

HBU had a record 30 wins at home in 1995 (30-3) and had a low of only one loss in 2001 (14-1). In five seasons (1995, '96, '00, '05, '07), the Huskies recorded 20 or more wins.

Among the field's highlights are a four-game sweep for the 2008 Red River Athletic Conference tournament championship, and a four-game sweep of the 2007 NAIA Region VI tournament, including a 7-6 comeback win over Texas Wesleyan in the championship game.
