Carruth was an All-American for the Huskies in 1996, an Academic All-Region/District/Conference in 1996, and a three-time All-Region player. She is tied for the record for the most runs in a game with 5 against Concordia in 1997. In the 1997 season, she had a .461 batting average with 76 hits. 17 of those hits were doubles, and another 7 were triples. She also had 62 runs scored that year. Carruth has the most hits in a career with 233, the most runs scored in a career with 168, the most career triples with 18, the fourth most stolen bases in a career with 42, and the second highest career batting average with a .407 average.
