Courtney Whittleman was a member of the volleyball team from 2008-11, finishing her career as the Huskies’ all-time leader with 2,146 digs and is the only Husky to reach 2,000. She was named Great West Conference Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons in 2010 and 2011. Whittleman had 625 digs in 2011, which ranks third all-time at HBU, and she also has the seventh and eighth-highest single-season dig totals in school history. She also holds the school record for digs in a three-set match with 27 against Jackson State on Sept. 4, 2010, in a four-set match with 31 against NJIT on Sept. 26, 2009 and in a five-set match with 36 at North Dakota on Oct. 29, 2011.
