Houston Christian University Athletics

Dvorak coached the Huskies' gymnastics teams from 1973 to 1989. He led HBU to its first-ever NCAA Championships appearance during the 1981-82 season. He was named the College Gymnastics Association Midwest Regional Coach of the Year in 1980, 1982 and 1987. He is a past president of the CGA and received the organization's Richard M. Aronson Special Services Award in 1982. In all, he coached three Olympians, six NCAA champions and 36 All-Americans.
