Hall of Honor
John Lewis earned All-America honors in 1972, helping the team to five tournament victories. He finished second at the Angelo International and the St. Thomas Invitational and finished third at the Corpus Christi Invitational. He received the Athletic Academic Award in 1971 and the Most Competitive Award in 1972. Lewis also worked on the athletics section for the Ornogah, was vice president of the intrafraternity council and of Alpha Tau Omega, was twice recognized by Omicron Delta Kappa and was selected by the faculty-student committee to the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
