Andrew Taccolini was a two-time All-Red River Conference selection in 2006 and 2007 and helped the Huskies capture the region championship and advance to the NAIA College World Series in 2007. Named the team's Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year and HBU's Robbie Robertson Male Athlete of the Year in 2008, he was also a two-time Academic All-Conference selection in 2006 and 2009. Taccolini was a career .360 hitter and holds the all-time HBU records with 32 home runs, 197 RBIs and 274 hits. He also ranks third in runs scored, doubles, at-bats and ninth in walks. In 2008, he recorded the second-highest single-season batting average in school history, hitting .460 with 10 home runs and 61 runs.
