Houston Christian University Athletics

The 1985 4x800 relay team featuring Charlie Foreman, Lowell Jones, Nureldin Ramirez and Alfredo Lahuerta completed that season ranked eighth in the USA with a best time of 7:20.66.  They also ranked 15th in indoors.  The team recorded its season best time at the Texas Relays where they placed third.  They also won the Domino's Pizza Relays and the TSU Relays that season.  Lahuerta also ranked eighth in the US indoors in the 800 and qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships as an individual.
