Bruno Kongawoin was a four-year letterwinner as a forward on the men’s basketball team from 1983-87, helping lead the Huskies to their only NCAA Tournament appearance after winning the Trans America Athletic Conference title in 1984. He was a two-time all-conference selection in 1985-86 and 1986-87. Kongawoin ranks 11^th all-time in rebounding at HBU with 691 and his 297 boards in 1986-87 is tied for ninth in the single-season record books.
