CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – HBU hits the road for the final time for a midweek game, when it takes on fellow Southland Conference foe Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Chapman Field.

Matt Heck are tied for the Southland lead with eight home runs apiece as HBU (19-21) leads the conference with 42 homers as a team. Heck ranks fourth in the league, hitting .353 with seven doubles, four triples, a league-leading 38 RBIs and 25 runs. Harrison Dinocola is hitting .325 with 13 doubles, three triples, five home runs, 24 RBIs and 37 runs for TAMU-CC (20-21), while Jackson Owens is hitting .307 with nine doubles, six triples, a home run, 25 RBIs and 29 runs. Owens (2-2, 5.59 ERA) is also expected to take the mound for the Islanders Tuesday.
The Islanders claimed this season's previous matchup with the Huskies, 5-3, on April 10 in Houston.
HBU, now tied for second in the league, returns to Southland Conference play with its first-ever trip to Northwestern State for a three-game series Friday through Sunday in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
