Previous School: Played two seasons at Baylor, as a freshman under coach Steve Smith and as a sophomore under coach Steve Rodriguez...as a freshman, hit .252 with six doubles, a home run, 12 RBIs and 14 runs…hit .282 in Big 12 play…was a three-time Dean’s List and three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree.
 
High School: Was a four-year starter at Kingwood Park High School for coach Bruce Cox...as a senior, hit .358 with eight home runs…earned all-district honors three times…named a Perfect Game Second-Team All-American…was a captain on the football team.
 
Personal: Full name is Jonathan Ross Ducoff...born June 20, 1995, in Kingwood, Texas…son of Scott and Laura Ducoff…has one brother, Taylor, who played baseball at HBU and McNeese…father played football at Stephen F. Austin…majoring in finance.
