Biography

2017 (Junior): Pulcheon appeared in 53 games, making 39 starts at first base and 13 at catcher…hit .275 with eight doubles, a triple, three home runs, a team-leading 37 RBIs and 22 runs…recorded 14 multi-hit games and tied for the team lead with eight multi-RBI games…went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run in game, then went 3-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run in the season-opening doubleheader against Fordham (2/18)…drove in two against Rhode Island (2/25), then drove in three in the series finale against the Rams (2/26)…went 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and two runs against Abilene Christian (4/13), then homered and drove in two against the Wildcats (4/14)…went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs at Incarnate Word (4/22)…in the series sweep over Sam Houston State (5/12-5/14), went 6-for-10, with two hits in each game, a double, six RBIs and two runs…named Southland Conference Hitter of the Week on May 15…went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a 5-4 victory to eliminate top-seeded McNeese at the Southland Conference Tournament (5/26)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at CMI Technology Path for coach Jason Klug…played his junior and senior seasons in a college redshirt league…hit .350 as a freshman and earned the Character Athlete Award and First Year Varsity Award…as a sophomore, hit .535 with a .767 on-base percentage and .687 slugging percentage…named League MVP, First-Team All-League and Team MVP…played for the So Cal Premier for coach Rob Vasquez and the Murrieta Valley Hurricanes for James Schmitt…led the Hurricanes to 42 championships in eight years…named to the Victory Custom Athletic ABCL D-I Preseason All-Conference Team...hit .343 with a .503 slugging percentage and .453 on-base percentage.
