LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana – HBU will hit the road to face conference rival McNeese in a non-conference baseball matchup Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Joe Miller Ballpark. The Legacy Sports Network audio broadcast with Russ Reneau begins with the pregame show at 5:50 p.m. and is available on HBUHuskies.com.
 
Senior outfielders Spencer Halloran and Matt Heck are tied for the Southland lead with eight home runs apiece. Halloran is hitting .347 with 12 doubles, 26 RBIs and 28 runs, while Heck is hitting .333 with five doubles, three triples, 34 RBIs and 23 runs. Junior centerfielder Jonathan Ducoff has homered in three-straight games for a season total of five, senior first baseman/catcher Jake Pulcheon hit two home runs over the weekend and has driven in 21 on the year and senior shortstop Tyler Depreta-Johnson has four homers and 17 RBIs.
 
The Huskies (16-20) will likely start junior righthander Hunter McClellan, who has a 1-1 record with a 2.49 ERA, 15 strikeouts and 10 walks in 10 appearances, including two starts, this year.
 
Chris Duhon leads the Cowboys (16-20) with a .306 average, eight doubles, three home runs, 16 RBIs and 21 runs, while Shane Selman is hitting .301 with six homers and 23 RBIs. Carson Maxwell has 22 RBIs for McNeese.
 
HBU returns home to host Incarnate Word in a three-game Southland Conference series Friday through Sunday at Husky Field. Friday's opener begins at 2 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. start Saturday and a 2 p.m. first pitch Sunday. The YouTube video broadcasts with Russ Reneau also begin 10 minutes prior to each first pitch and can be found on HBUHuskies.com.
