Previous School: McClellan played two seasons at San Jacinto College for coach Tom Arrington…as a sophomore in 2017, made 15 appearance, including 13 starts, going 5-2 with a 0.84 ERA, 37 strikeouts and 21 walks in 53.1 innings…as a freshman, made 10 appearances, including five starts, going 3-0 with a 5.06 ERA, a save and 18 strikeouts…made the honor roll and the Dean’s List and earned the Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence.
 
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Nacogdoches High School for coach Wayne Williams…was also the starting quarterback for two seasons at NHS.
 
Personal: Full name is Joshua Hunter McClellan…born Nov. 17, 1996, in Nacogdoches, Texas…son of Mike and Shannon McClellan…has two brothers, Jake and Cole…majoring in finance.
