NORTHRIDGE, California - HBU's eight Los Angeles-area natives will return home as the Huskies travel to take on Cal State Northridge in a four-game series Friday through Sunday at Matador Field. Friday's opener begins at 2 p.m. PDT, followed by an 11 a.m. PDT doubleheader Saturday and Sunday's 1 p.m. PDT finale.

Louie Payetta was named SLC Hitter of the Week after hitting .818 over the weekend and is now hitting .349 for the season with four doubles, 10 RBIs and eight runs. Senior
Greg Espinosa is the team's leading hitter at .377 with four doubles, a triple, 10 RBIs and a team-leading 12 runs. Senior first baseman
Andrew Alvarez is hitting .339, is tied for second in the SLC with six doubles, has a triple, a home run, nine RBIs and eight runs, while junior rightfielder
Brandon Brintz is hitting .328, leads the conference with four triples, leads the team with 12 RBIs and has scored 10 runs.

Fred Smith is hitting .429 with four doubles, 10 RBIs and 14 runs, while Justin Toerner is hitting .359 with four doubles, a triple, 11 RBIs and 11 runs. Branden Berry is hitting .327 with three doubles, five home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 runs. Albee Weiss is tied for the team leads with five homers and 17 RBIs, and Yusuke Akitoshi ranks second on the team with 17 runs.
