2016 (Junior): Brintz appeared in 50 games, including 48 starts in right field...hit .249 with four triples, two home runs, two doubles, 22 RBIs, 27 runs and was 8-for-10 on stolen base attempts…tied for the team lead with three outfield assists…hit .318 with runners on base, .321 as the leadoff hitter, and led the Huskies with 14 two-out RBIs…recorded seven multiple-hit performances in the first 10 games…in the season-opening doubleheader against Binghamton (2/19), went 4-for-9 with two triples, three RBIs and four runs…went 2-for-5 with three RBIs at UT-Rio Grande Valley (2/27)…went 2-for-3 with a walk at No. 2 Texas A&M (3/1)…recorded his first career three-hit game at McNeese (5/13)…hit his first career home run at CSUN (3/19)…went 4-for-8 with a double, an RBI and three runs in a doubleheader against Stephen F. Austin (4/15)…homered against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5/14)…went 2-for-4 with three runs at Sam Houston State (5/20)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Cypress Community College in Cypress, California, for Coach Scott Pickler...as a sophomore, was named Orange Empire All-Conference Second Team…hit .306 with seven extra-base hits, 20 RBIs, a .403 on-base percentage and .372 slugging.
 
High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Murrieta Valley High School for Coach Scott Widner...earned the Coaches Award in 2009 and 2010, the Spring Athlete Award in 2009 and 2012 and the Senior Wings Award in 2012…selected to the USA Baseball Southern California NTIS Team in 2011.
 
Personal: Full name is Brandon Augustine Brintz...born Dec. 13, 1993, in Glendora, California…son of Michael and Ann Marie Brintz…has one brother, Blake, and one sister, Kristine…majoring in kinesiology.
