2016 (Junior): Jakubik made 11 appearances on the mound, including a pair of starts…went 1-2 with an 11.05 ERA, 12 strikeouts and 17 walks in 22.0 innings…in his first career start, took a no-decision, allowing one unearned run on five hits against Binghamton (2/20)…allowed one run on two hits in 2.1 innings to earn his first career victory at Prairie View A&M (4/26) …named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Wharton County Junior College for Coach Keith Case…as a sophomore, posted a 4.45 ERA with 38 strikeouts and 18 walks in 60.2 innings…earned NJCAA Region 14 Academic All-Conference.
 
High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Ridge Point High School for Coach Jody Albright…as a senior, went 4-2 with a 3.17 ERA, 50 strikeouts and 26 walks in 46.1 innings…hit .366 with one home run and 15 RBIs…earned District 22-4A First-Team All-District honors as a pitcher and Houston Class 5A Honorable Mention at designated hitter…named Ridge Point Pitcher of the Year…as a junior, went 4-4 with a 2.86 ERA, 34 strikeouts and 22 walks in 44.0 innings…also lettered one year in football for Coach Brent Sniffen.
