Brandon Hammerly Sunday. The Panthers will start three righthanders: Alberto Aveytia Friday, then Jordan Stewart Saturday and Charles Philpott Sunday.

Jared Moon enters his 10
th season at the helm of his alma mater and returns 20 letterwinners, including five starting position players and four starting pitchers from last year's squad, which went 23-28 overall and 12-18 in its first season in the Southland Conference. The Huskies are led by senior third baseman/pitcher
Curtis Jones, who was named an NCBWA preseason all-America and was the league's utility player of the year. He hit .361 with five doubles, 22 RBIs and 33 runs, while going 4-5 on the mound with a 3.64 ERA, 42 strikeouts and 21 walks. Senior catcher
Samm Wiggins was named to the Southland preseason all-conference team, after hitting .273 last year with six doubles, two triples, 17 RBIs, 21 runs and threw out 18-of-38 would-be base stealers. The Huskies also return senior outfielders

PVAMU finished 21-30 overall and 10-11 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play in 2014. The Panthers are led by Cody Den Beste, who hit .309 with three home runs, 10 doubles, three triples, 30 RBIs and 41 runs and Walter Wells, who hit .265 with 11 doubles, two triples, 18 RBIs and 27 runs last season.
Friday's game is slated for 2 p.m., Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the series concludes with a 2 p.m. first pitch Sunday.
