2014 (Junior): Clay appeared in 50 games and made 48 starts – 38 in rightfield, nine in leftfield and one at designated hitter…hit .291 with four doubles, two triples, a home run, 22 RBIs, 25 runs and led the Huskies with 14 stolen bases…recorded 16 multiple-hit games and led the team with seven multiple-RBI games…put together a 14-game hitting streak from April 19 to May 15…posted three three-hit games, going 3-for-6 with a triple, an RBI and two runs against Prairie View A&M (2/15) and 3-for-6 with two RBIs and two runs at Lamar (5/4)…went 3-for-3 with a run against UT Arlington (4/8)…hit safely in his first seven starts as a Husky…made a bases-loaded, inning-ending sliding catch in the top of the 12^th, then scored the winning run of a 6-5 victory over Stephen F. Austin (5/15).
 
Previous School: Played for Iowa Western Community College for Coach Marc Rardin…had a batting average of .333 and a fielding percentage of .949 in 2013.
 
High School: Was a four-year letter winner under Coach Rocky Helm at Maize High School… recorded a .585 batting average, was 29-for-29 on stolen bases and broke five school records his senior year…had a .381 batting average, was 10-for-10 in stolen base attempts and had a .958 fielding percentage his junior year… was on the A/B honor roll from freshman year through senior year.
