2014 (Junior): Hammerly made 11 relief appearances, posting a 5.91 ERA with nine strikeouts and seven walks in 10.2 innings…tossed two scoreless innings in a 7-4 victory over UT Arlington (4/8)…struck out two in one perfect inning at Nicholls (3/15).
 
2013 (Sophomore): Made 12 appearances on the mound, including 10 starts...went 2-5 with a 4.74 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 62.2 innings…went at least seven innings in five of his 10 starts, including a streak of four-straight from March 9-April 12…recorded his first career victory by allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out five in 7.2 innings of a 5-3 win at Utah Valley (4/12)…allowed two runs on six hits and tied his career-high with seven strikeouts to earn his second win of the season against NYIT (5/5)…struck out a season-high seven in his first-ever start for HBU against Nicholls State (2/17).
 
Previous School: Redshirted as a freshman at Galveston College for coach Gary Key.
 
High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Pasadena Memorial High School for coach Mike Morgan…as a senior went 2-0 with a 1.89 ERA and two no-decisions in district play…batted .212 playing first base as a junior...posted a 3.9 GPA.
