HOUSTON – HBU will wrap up its five-game homestand with a non-conference baseball tilt against UT Rio Grande Valley Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Husky Field.
 
The Huskies (11-17) are expected to start junior righthander Hunter McClellan (0-1, 3.38 ERA), who will be making his first career start at HBU.
 
Senior outfielder Matt Heck is hitting .317 with four doubles, a triple, five home runs, a team-leading 19 RBIs and has scored 14 runs, while senior third baseman/outfielder Spencer Halloran is hitting .315 with eight doubles, five home runs, 16 RBIs and leads HBU with 19 runs. Senior first baseman/catcher Jake Pulcheon has two doubles and 18 RBIs, while senior shortstop Tyler Depreta-Johnson has four home runs and 15 RBIs.
 
UTRGV will likely start righthander Trevelle Hill (3-1, 3.75 ERA).
 
Elijah Alexander Is hitting .330 with five doubles, three triples, two home runs, 10 RBIs and 19 runs for the Vaqueros, while Coleman Grubbs is hitting .328 with six doubles, a triple, a home run, 11 RBIs and 15 runs. Austin Seiner is hitting .299 with four doubles, two triples, three home runs, 20 RBIs and 16 runs. Tyler Torres has three home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 20 runs.
 
The Huskies return to action when they travel to face Central Arkansas in a three-game Southland Conference series Friday through Sunday in Conway, Arkansas.
