Bailey Keith led the Huskies with 11 kills each as HBU fell 1-3 (11-25, 17-25, 25-21, 14-25) to North Carolina State Friday evening in the Rice Invitational at Tudor Fieldhouse.
 
Junior libero 
Haley Mueller led the Huskies with 15 digs. Freshman setter 
Kayla Armer had 39 assists, along with 12 digs for HBU (5-5). Junior outside hitter 
Megan McStravick recorded 10 digs for the Huskies.
 
Alesha Wilson led the Wolfpack with 17 kill, while teammate Dariyan Hopper followed with 12 kills. Tanna Aljoe led North Carolina with 41 assists. Alston Kearns had 25 digs, while Eve Davis recorded 13 digs. Both Nikki Glass and Rachel Eppley had 11 digs each.   
 
North Carolina outhit HBU .322-.176. The Wolfpack outblocked the Huskies 6-5 and outdug the Huskies 71-62.
 
The Huskies will conclude the Rice Invitational Tournament Saturday morning at 11 a.m. as they face Missouri.
