Haley Mueller had 13 digs.
Ashley Elrod led the Lady Demons with 16 kills and 12 digs. Stacey DiFrancesco recorded 11 digs and 15 digs for Northwestern State. Vanessa Coleman had 10 kills for the Lady Demons. Natalie Jaegar had 29 assists for Northwestern State, while teammate Emily Johnson had 14 assists, along with 10 digs. Keelie Arneson had a match-high of 34 digs for the Lady Demons.
The Lady Demons outblocked the Huskies 10-8. Northwestern State outdug the HBU by 10 digs. The Lady Demons outhit the Huskies 53 hits to 43 hits.
The Huskies return to action Saturday, October 19 as they face Stephen F. Austin at 1 p.m. in Sharp Gym.
