FRISCO, Texas – HCU junior goalkeeper Emmy McKeon was named Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday morning, marking the fifth time in her career she has received the weekly award from the conference office.

With just one game last week, a Thursday evening home tilt against crosstown foe Rice, McKeon stood out and showed out with a 10-save performance. The junior matched her career-high for single-game saves while helping lead HCU to a 1-1 draw with the Owls. McKeon currently leads all Southland keepers with six saves per game.
