FRISCO, Texas – HCU sophomore Lou Rousselot was selected as the Southland Conference Golfer of the Month for September, as voted on by the sports information directors and announced by the league office Thursday.
 
Rousselot posted a 73.17 stroke average over six rounds in the Huskies' two season-opening events. The Le-Plan-de-la-Tour, France, native tied for 10^th at the USA Intercollegiate, firing a 3-under par 213. Rousselot set the school record with a 6-under par 66 in the final round, leading the Huskies to a team total of 12-under par 276, which was also a school record. She tied for 15^th at the Remax Prime Properties Bearkat Invitational with a total of 226. She opened with a 71, her third round of par or better this season, then followed with a 76 and 79.
 
The Huskies return to action at the Lady Red Wolves Classic hosted by Arkansas State Oct. 10-11 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
