HOUSTON - HBU host Prairie View A&M Tuesday afternoon at Husky Field in the last home game before an eight-game road stretch. The game will be shown on ESPN+ with Russ Reneau.
 
Sophomore catcher Parker Edwards is hitting .324 with six home runs, seven doubles, 20 RBIs and 13 runs, while junior first baseman Brennen Bales has been red hot and is now hitting .303 with five doubles, 10 RBIs and seven runs for the Huskies (11-21). Sophomore infielder Sebastian Trinidad is batting .278 with five doubles, six RBIs and five runs and junior catcher Tyler LaRue is hitting .277 with four doubles, two triples, seven RBIs and seven runs.
 
Junior righthander Thomas King (0-2, 6.91 ERA) is expected to start for HBU.
 
Benjamin Ybarra is hittin .362 with six doubles, two triples, 26 RBIs and 11 runs, while Brayden Johnson is hitting .359 with six doubles, two home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs for the Panthers (17-17). Wilbert Tre Turner is batting .326 with five doubles, a triple, two home runs, 22 RBIs and 14 rusn. Demarie Smith has scored a team-leading 27 runs and Dominic Cox has three home runs and 19 RBIs.
