Biography

Previous Schools: King began his collegiate career at Barton College, before transferring to Olney Central College in Illinois. As a sophomore, made 10 starts, posting a 5-2 record with a 2.45 ERA, 65 strikeouts and 29 walks in 58.2 innings. Hurled seven shutout innings, striking out 12 and allowing only three hits in a 2-0 victory over Kaskaskia. Allowed one run on five hits with 10 strikeouts in an eight inning complete game victory over Rend Lake. Played at Trinity High School for coach Rick Arnold.
