RUSTON, La. – Three Louisiana Tech pitchers combined to hold HBU to four hits and struck out 10 as the Bulldogs claimed a 6-0 victory to sweep the non-conference baseball series Sunday afternoon at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

Bryce Wallace went 2-for-4 with a run and Jorge Corona went 2-for-4 for the Bulldogs (11-5). Kyle Hasler went 1-for-4 and drove in two runs, while Taylor Young was 1-for-4 with a walk and scored twice.
Jarret Whorff (1-2) earned the win, holding the Huskies to three hits with five strikeouts and three walks in five innings. Jackson Lancaster allowed a hit and struck out three in two innings and Kyle Crigger did not allow a hit, striking out two and walking two over the last two innings.
La Tech scored a pair in the first on Hasler's two-run single, then took advantage of two HBU errors to put together a four-run fourth.
The Huskies return home to face UTSA Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Husky Field, before traveling for a three-game series against Michigan State next weekend in East Lansing.
