2021: Austin made 18 appearances, including a pair of starts...went 3-2 with an 8.00 ERA, with 28 strikeouts and 24 walks in 27.0 innings…earned the win with two scoreless innings, allowing one hit with two strikeouts and two walks against McNeese (3/20)…picked up the victory with two hitless, shutout innings, striking out three at Nicholls (3/26)…earned the win with 2.2 shutout innings and striking out a season-high five against Northwestern State (4/16)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
 
Prior to HBU: Played two seasons at North Central Texas College…as a freshman, made 14 appearances on the mound out of the bullpen, going 2-0 with a 3.45 ERA, 16 strikeouts and 10 walks in 15.2 innnings…also hit .222 with a double, an RBI and two runs…as a sophomore, made seven appearances, going 1-1 with two saves, a 4.91 ERA, 12 strikeouts and 12 walks in 7.1 innings…played at Fort Worth Christian, where he earned second-team all-district and academic all-state honors.
