2021: Spinney made 14 appearances and nine starts…went 0-5 with a 5.59 ERA, 25 strikeouts and 27 walks in 46.2 innings…threw six shutout innings, allowing four hits and striking out two at Rice (2/22)…struck out a season-high four three times…named to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
 
2020: Made five appearances and four starts…went 1-4 with a 5.56 ERA, 21 strikeouts and 15 walks in 22.2 innings…struck out five against Northern Colorado (2/16) and Ball State (2/21)…allowed two earned runs and struck out three in three innings in a start against #21 Texas A&M (2/25)…earned the win, allowing two runs on three hits with eight strikeouts in the series opener against Sam Houston (3/6)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Roll.
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Cypress College…as a sophomore, made 14 appearances, going 2-2 with a 6.14 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 29.1 innings…as a freshman, made 13 appearances going 6-2 with a save, 3.96 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 36.1 innings.

High School: Played at El Dorado High School for coach Matt Lucas…as a senior, earned first-team all-league, second-team All-CIF, OC All-Star Team and Crestview League Pitcher of the Year honors…as a junior, earned second-team all-league and National Classic All-Tournament Team honors.
