COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M got 14 strikeouts between its two pitchers and rode a pair of home runs to a 4-0 victory over HBU Tuesday night at Blue Bell Park.

Austin Bost went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBIs and scored, while Logan Britt homered and drove in a pair for TAMU (5-4).
Nathan Dettmer (1-0) picked up the win, shutting out HBU on three hits with seven strikeouts and a walk in six innings. Chandler Jozwiak notched the save, allowing two hits and striking out seven over the final three.
Bost delivered an RBI double in the first inning to stake the Aggies to a 1-0 lead.
Bost then led off the fourth with a solo home run to left, which was followed by Britt's two-run shot later in the inning.
The Huskies return to action when they travel to face Louisiana in a three-game series Friday through Sunday in Lafayette.
