T&F: HBU Closes Texas Relays with a Pair of Events

Denim Rogers sets a new PR in the 110m hurdles

AUSTIN, Texas – HBU wrapped up the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Saturday with Denim Rogers setting a new PR and taking third in the 110 meter hurdles invitational and the men's 4x800 relay running at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas campus.
 
Rogers, who was added to the 110h invitational, posted a PR time of 14.29 and finished third overall in the event. He was second among collegiate runners with only South Plains' Deion Lightfoot ahead of him.
 
Christos Zachariou, Travis Jacobs, Cody Hammonds and Zion Walker placed eighth in the 4x800 with a time of 7:48.81. Zachariou opened with the Huskies' fastest lap, running the initial 800m in 1:53.49.
 
HBU will be back in Houston next weekend for the Houston Alumni Invitational held at the Carl Lewis International Complex on Saturday, Apr. 6.
