T&F: Mast Runs in Opening Round at NCAA Prelims

Mast places 30th out of 48 entries in the 1500m

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Junior Eline Mast placed 30^th overall out of 48 entries in the women's 1500 meters on Thursday evening at the NCAA West First Round at E.B. Cushing Stadium.

Running in the first heat of the evening, Mast raced to a time of 4:23.42. She placed seventh in her heat and finished 30^th out of 48 runners who qualified in the 1500m.

Mast's teammates Dadrian Calhoun and Josh Gillis-Harry will compete in the triple jump on Friday, May 30, afternoon while Edouard Lecrivain runs in the 800 meter quarterfinals in the evening.
