Biography
2017 (Junior): Ran five races for the Huskies as a junior…set new PRs in three different distances, including three miles at the HBU-UH Dual meet (10/20), four miles at the TAMUCC Islander Splash (9/23) and the 6,250 meters at the Norry Hersey Rice Invitational (9/9).
2016 (Sophomore): Ran five races as a sophomore…set a new PR in the 8k at the Southland Conference Championships (10/28).
2015 (Freshman): Did not run in any races as a freshman.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track and field at Warren High School...he was a two-time state champion in the 800 and a two-time qualifier in the 400.
Personal: Full name is Cody Alan Hammonds....majoring in finance...born March 6, 1996 in Beaumont, Texas...son of Chris and Lisa Wolfe...has one brother, Van Hammonds.
