BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Senior
Edouard Lecrivain advanced past the first round of the 800 meters on Wednesday at the NCAA West First Round held at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Lecrivain placed fourth in the first heat of the 800m, missing out on the automatic qualification that comes with finishing in the top three of a heat. However, his time of 1:48.96 was enough to place him 24
th overall and earn a spot in Friday's quarterfinal race with a shot to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. on the line.
Teammate
Denzel Hinds, meanwhile, ran in the 400 meter hurdles and placed 40
th overall with a time of 52.07.
Eline Mast will take to the track on Thursday, May 29, running in the first round of the women's 1500 meters at 6:30 p.m.
