CONWAY, Arkansas - HBU will play seven of its next eight on the road, beginning with a three-game Southland Conference series against Central Arkansas Friday through Sunday at Bear Stadium. Friday's opener begins at 6 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. start Saturday and a 1 p.m. first pitch in Sunday's finale.
 
Senior third baseman/outfielder Spencer Halloran is hitting .319 with eight doubles, is tied for the league lead with six home runs and has 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored, while senior rightfielder Matt Heck is hitting .333 with four doubles, two triples, five home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 runs for the Huskies (12-17, 5-4 SLC). Senior first baseman Jake Pulcheon has driven in 18 and senior shortstop Tyler Depreta-Johnson has four home runs and 15 RBIs.
 
The Huskies are expected to send junior righthander Zach Carter (1-3, 2.76 ERA), senior lefthander Matthew McCollough (3-1, 2.87 ERA) and junior righthander Brady Batten (2-3, 3.24 ERA) to the mound.
 
Rigo Aguilar is hitting .372 with eight doubles, a home run, 19 RBIs and 25 runs for UCA (17-11, 9-3), while Hunter Strong is hitting .345 with seven doubles, two triples, two home runs, 17 RBIs and 28 runs. Josh Somdecerff is hitting .343 with nine doubles, a triple, five home runs, 25 RBIs and 21 runs and Tyler Smith is hitting .284 with 10 doubles, a home run, 22 RBIs and 16 runs. Keaton Presley has five home runs and driven in 19.
 
The Bears will likely start righthanders Tyler Gray (3-0, 2.23 ERA), Tanner Wiley (2-0, 2.75 ERA) and Cody Davenport (2-1, 4.53 ERA).
 
HBU leads the all-time series against UCA, 8-6, but the Bears won four of the six meetings last year, taking two-of-three in the regular season series and winning two of the three meetings at the Southland Conference Tournament.
