HOUSTON – After playing the last six games on the road, HBU Softball returns to Husky Field Tuesday, April 3 to face non-conference opponent UT Arlington at 3 p.m.
Sophomore 
Heidi Jaquez leads the Huskies (6-19) at the plate with a.284 batting average with five doubles, four home runs, 13 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Senior 
Nicole Shedd is hitting .282 at the plate and leads the team with six doubles. Junior 
Demi Janak is batting .273 with a .429 on base percentage and leads the team with 16 RBIs and four home runs.
Freshman 
Jessica Patak (4-11) has appeared in 19 games with 15 starts and has earned a 3.55 ERA in 100.2 innings, while Freshman 
Elliott Estes (1-3) has a 4.42 ERA in 31.2 innings.
The Mavericks (17-16) are led by Krista Rude, who is batting .333 with six RBIs and 21 runs scored. Whitney Walton bats .315 at the plate leading the team with six doubles and two triples, has 16 RBis and scored 20 times. Other leaders include Reagan Writght with 23 RBIs, Bryanna Datko with three home runs Sandra Mendoza with 23 runs scored.
Jojo Valencia (7-11) leads UTA on the mound with a 3.06 ERA in 100.2 innings. Randi Phillips (9-5) has appeared in 26 games holding a 3.35 ERA in 110.2 innings.
The Huskies lead the all-time series against UT Arlington 3-2. The Mavericks won the last matchup between the two, 9-1 on March 22, 2017 at Arlington.
