2019 (Junior): Earned 3rd straight Spring Comissioner’s Honor Roll... appeared and started in all 46 games as a catcher...held a .995 fielding percentage committing only one error....Batted .277 with 39 hits and a career high in homeruns with 7 on the year...Led the team in on base percentage with .393...03/02/19 went 2 for 3 with one double and one homerun with two runs batted in and two runs scored.
2018 (Sophomore): Was named to the Spring Comissioner’s Honor Roll...Appeared in all 43 games with 43 starts...42 of the starts came behind the plate where Jaquez had a .978 fielding percentage, one of the top in the conference among catchers...Jaquez recorded a .288/6/21 slash line...2/24/2018 in a win against Niagara recorded three hits, two runs, and six RBI’s.
2017 (Freshman): Earned Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll...appeared and started in all 43 games at catcher...third on the team with a .289 batting average (43-for-149) with 19 runs, 19 RBIs, eight doubles, tied for the team high three triples and had one home run…had a five game streak of hitting a double and an RBI (2/22-26)…led the team with 10 multiple hit games with a season high four hits against Alabama State...hit two triples with one RBI and two runs scored at Lamar (3/17)…went 2-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBIs against Abilene Christian (3/24)…went long at UTSA (4/4).
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for coach Kevin Lewis at Wharton High School…earned First Team All-District honors twice along with one Second Team All-District selection…named Team MVP on three occasions…earned Academic All-District honors thrice…batted .750 in district play as a senior…was named Team MVP in Volleyball and twice earned Academic All-District laurels…two-time regional and state qualifier in powerlifting.
