2016 Honorable Mention All-SLC2018

2018 (Junior): Was named to the Spring Comissioner’s Honor Roll...Named to the Academic All-America team...Named to the Academic All-District team...Named to the SLC All-Academic team...Led the team in batting average, homeruns, and RBI’s...Janak’s slash line was .292/9/26...4/17/2018 against UTSA went 3-4  with three homeruns and four RBI’s.

2017 (Sophomore):  Earned Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA…started all 43 games at second base…third in conference for fielding double plays (12)…led the team with 5 mutli-RBI games…batted .186 (21-for-113) with 12 runs, 17 RBIs, eight doubles and two home runs…went yard against Alabama State (2/11) and Western Illinois (2/24)…hit 2-for-3 with a double at Nicholls (3/11)…drove in two runs with a double against Northwestern state, where she totaled four RBIs in the series (4/28).

2016 (Freshman): Honorable Mention All-Southland Conference...Started all 44 games at second base…led the team in home runs (8), RBI (27) and slugging percentage (.562)…tied for second on the team in runs scored (20)…batted .298 (36-of-121)…posted a slash line of .333/.429/.623 in SLC play…drove in a career-high six runs against Southeast Missouri State (3/13)…recorded the first multi-homer game of her college career with 2 home runs, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored against Sam Houston State (4/16)…totaled nine multi-hit games…posted a .963 fielding percentage…recorded an eight-game hitting streak (3/29-4/9).

High School: A four-year letterwinner and starter at Klein Collins High School under head coach Rosemary Rhodes in Spring, Texas…batted .466 as a senior to pick up all-district and all-state honors, also garnering the team’s hitting and defensive awards…named a first team all-district infielder three times…recognized three times for academic achievements in the classroom, including academic all-state as a senior.

Personal: Full name is Demi Theresa Janak…born Jan. 26, 1997, in Spring, Texas…daughter of Brian and Evon Janak…has one brother, Cory…played club softball for TX Firecrackers under the direction of Connie Mays…majoring in accounting.
