HOUSTON – HBU hosts crosstown foe Texas Southern in a non-conference baseball matchup Tuesday at noon at Husky Field.
 
The Huskies (8-12) will likely start senior righthander Marshall Herron (1-1, 4.15 ERA), who earned his first career victory last week at UT Rio Grande Valley.
 
Senior outfielder/third baseman Spencer Halloran is hitting .296 with four doubles, four home runs, 11 RBIs and a team-leading 13 runs scored for the Huskies (8-12), while junior centerfielder Jonathan Ducoff is hitting .290 with four doubles, a home run, two RBIs and nine runs. Senior catcher/first baseman Jake Pulcheon leads HBU with 14 RBIs and senior shortstop Tyler Depreta-Johnson has three home runs and 12 RBIs.
 
Kamren Dukes is hitting .364 with seven doubles, two triples, a home run, six RBIs and 12 runs for TSU (6-13). Horace LeBlanc is hitting .361 with three doubles, eight RBIs and seven runs, while Christian Sanchez is hitting .297 with four doubles, seven home runs, 15 RBIs and 11 runs. Gaudencio Lucca is hitting .290 with four home runs and 10 RBIs.
 
The Huskies return to Southland Conference play when they hit the road to face Southeastern Louisiana Friday through Sunday in Hammond, Louisiana.
