ARLINGTON, Texas – After being held scoreless for five innings, UT Arlington scored six runs in the eighth inning to defeat HBU, 10-0 in eight innings, in non-conference baseball Tuesday night at Clay Gould Ballpark. 
Senior first baseman 
Andrew Alvarez went 2-for-3 after missing the last 15 games with a hand injury, while junior third baseman 
Austin Zillweger singled and walked. Outfielders 
Zane Otten, 
Brandon Morones and 
Josh Leonhardt all had pinch-hit singles for the Huskies (16-16). 
Matt McLean wne t2-for-3 with an RBI and scored three times for UTA (19-15), while Colton Turner went 1-for-3 and drove in three. Darien McLemore went 1-for-3 with an RBI and scored twice, and Jerame Littell singled, drove in a pair and scored. 
Senior righthander 
Brody Toal (0-1) took the loss for HBU, allowing two runs on four hits in two innings. The Huskies used eight pitchers on the night, with

Christian Thames and 
Ivan Smith combining to hold the Mavericks scoreless and hitless from the fourth inning through the seventh. 
Matt Michalski (1-1) earned the win for UTA, holding HBU to two hits with a strikeouts in five innings, while Jacob Moreland picked up his second save, allowing no runs on four hits with two strikeouts and a walk in three innings. 
The Huskies return to action when they host Stephen F. Austin in a three-game Southland Conference series this weekend at Husky Field. Friday's opener begins at 2 p.m, followed by a 1 p.m. start Saturday and a 2 p.m. first pitch Sunday.
