2016 (Junior): Zillweger appeared in appeared in 39 games, including 29 starts at third base…hit .278 with five doubles, a home run, 11 RBIs and 11 runs…had a nine-game hitting streak, tied for the longest on the team, from March 22-April 8…hit .348 against lefties and .433 as the leadoff hitter…drove in a run and scored twice in the season opener against Binghamton (2/19)…went 2-for-3 and scored twice against Utah (3/5)…went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run at Stephen F. Austin (3/22) to start his nine-game hitting streak…went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run against Incarnate Word (4/2)…finished his streak by going 2-for-4 with an RBI at Abilene Christian (4/8)…went 3-for-4 with an RBI at Abilene Christian (4/10)…went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBIs and a run against Stephen F. Austin (4/16)…was hitting .318 before injuring his shoulder against Lamar (4/23).
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Wharton County Junior College for Coach Keith Case...as a sophomore, hit .314 with five doubles, a triple, two home runs, 26 RBIs and 32 runs…was named second-team all-conference…also earned academic all-American honors.
 
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner at Atascocita High School for Coach Eric Matthews...named to the honor roll.
