The Huskies (3-1) took three-of-four from Binghamton at home to open the season, pounding out 43 hits in the series. Senior first baseman

Senior righthander
Matt Harding (0-0) is scheduled to make his first career start for the Huskies, after tossing a scoreless inning in his lone appearance on the weekend. For his career, Harding has made 39 appearances and posting a 3-2 record, 2.42 ERA, 31 strikeouts and 29 walks in 63.1 innings.
The Islanders (2-1) dropped their season opener at home to Chicago State, but rebounded to take the final two games of the series. Austin Krajnak is leading TAMU-CC with a .455 batting average and a pair of doubles, while Zacharias Hardy is hitting .417 with a double and three RBIs.
Lefthander Chris Falwell is expected to take the mound for TAMU-CC, after throwing two shutout innings with four strikeouts over the weekend.
HBU returns to action at the Al Ogletree Classic in Edinburg, Texas, this weekend. The Huskies will face Washington State Friday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at Noon, with a matchup against host UT Rio Grande Valley Saturday at 7 p.m. All broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to the first pitch.
