2015 (Junior): Harding enters his senior season as HBU’s all-time ERA leader at 2.455...made 16 relief appearances, going 1-1 with a 0.74 ERA, 15 strikeouts and six walks in 24.1 innings pitched…did not allow a run in his first 11 appearances, a span of 15.2 innings…earned the victory at Prairie View A&M on March 24 with 1.1 innings of perfect relief with one strikeout…made the longest outing of his career with 4.0 innings against Texas Southern (5/5)…struck out a career-high four in 2.1 innings of relief in a 6-3 win at Incarnate Word (3/27)…struck out three in 2.2 innings against Arkansas State (2/27).
 
2014 (Sophomore): Made 11 relief appearances, going 2-1 with a 3.54 ERA, nine strikeouts and 13 walks in 20.1 innings...threw at least two innings in seven of his 11 appearances…gave up one run on one hit in three innings of a 12-5 win over Prairie View A&M (2/15)…allowed a hit and struck out one in two innings of work to get the win in a 9-7, 13-inning victory at UTSA (2/18)…gave up an unearned run in 3.1 innings against Kansas (2/28)…picked up his second win by tossing two scoreless innings and striking out a pair in a 12-4 win over Prairie View A&M (3/11).
 
2013 (Freshman): Made 11 relief appearances, posting a 3.57 ERA and seven strikeouts in 17.2 innings…pitched two innings of scoreless relief in the Huskies’ 13-3 victory over Northern Colorado in the championship game of the Great West Conference Tournament (5/25)…did not allow an earned run in 3.2 innings, his longest outing of the season, against Texas-Pan American (4/20)…had a season-high two strikeouts against North Dakota (4/7).
 
High School: Was a three-time first team all-district selection pitcher at Westbury High School under Coach Brent Schmidt…academic all-state his senior year… was also a member of the golf and cross-country teams.
 
Personal: Full name is Matthew Glenn Harding…born Aug. 31, 1994 in Houston…son of Randy and Marlene Harding of Houston…has one sister and two brothers…majoring in management.
