Results | GolfstatHATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to inclement weather, the final round of the Lady Eagle Invitational at Hattiesburg Country Club was cancelled and tournament results are to be determined based on opening round finishes. The HBU women's golf team fired a 16-over 304 on Monday to share third place with Stephen F. Austin in the 14-team field.
Junior
Aries Ramirez recorded the top mark for the Huskies, carding a two-over 74 for a share of fifth place. The finish is her first in the top-five at HBU.
Sophomore
Charlotte Hartshorn scored a 76 to finish in a six-way tie for 14th place, followed closely by senior
Caitlyn Cassity and freshman
Giorgia Carletti, who shot 77's to share 20th. Senior
Rachel Mulkey finished one stroke back at 78 to tie for 24th place.
Junior
Brook Johnston shot a 79 as an individual for a share of 37th overall in the 83-player field.
The Huskies will be back in action on Monday, March 16, competing at South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational at Primm Valley Golf Course.
