Meet InformationLive StatsCOLLEGE STATION, Texas – The HBU men's and women's cross country teams compete at the NCAA South Central Regional, hosted by Texas A&M, Friday from the Dale Watts Cross Country Course. The women's 6k begins at 10 a.m. followed by the men's 10k at 11 a.m.
HBU is one of 24 women's teams and 27 men's, as the top two teams and first four finishers in the race not associated with the top two teams advance to the NCAA Championships held Nov. 21 in Louisville.
Junior
Juan Fraga will look upon last season's Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he ran the fastest race of his collegiate career. Also looking to make an impact is sophomore
Carlos Arias, who has consistently led the Huskies this season.
Senior
Gabriela Busquet led HBU's women's squad in last year's regionals and will look to do it again, as she has been a consistent leader for the Huskies. Sophomore
Arielle Price and junior
Stephanie Aguilar also had strong showings last year.
Both HBU teams drew middle of the pack starting box assignments, with the men starting 14th and the women 16th.
